Maid of the Mist

Cave of the Winds
A thrilling walk on Niagara Falls’ wild side, the spectacular Cave of the Winds Tour takes visitors into a stormy mist zone, where “soaking up the experience” takes on new meaning! The journey begins with an elevator ride 175 feet down into the Niagara Gorge. Geared-up in a souvenir rain poncho and specially designed sandals, guests follow wooden walkways along Niagara River to the Hurricane Deck, just a few breathtaking feet from the torrents of Niagara Falls.
Niagara Jet Adventures
Niagara Jet Adventures boasts a trained crew of “Thrillologists” to ensure safety and fun on its three boats specifically designed to skim across the turbulent waters of the Niagara River. Each boat contains three Cadillac LSA motors pushing 550hp with a combined horsepower of 1650 hp per boat! Each boat also contains three Hamilton Jet pumps pushing approximately 15,000 lbs of thrust per pump. The facility features a small cafe offering a variety of snacks and food, a gift shop, and a patio seating area perfect for watching the sun set over Lake Ontario.

Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University
Niagara Countys only collecting art museum, that has a permanent collection of over 5700 works of art, including well known artists such as Picasso, Miro, Dali, Calder, Nevelson and Warhol. Exhibitions of nationally known and emerging contemporary artists and traditional folk arts, artist talks, workshops and educational programming.
Parks
Niagara Falls State Park
America’s oldest state park, Niagara Falls State Park, is a natural treasure showcasing local and regional history. Designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, the park features an interactive Visitor Center with interpretive displays and exhibits - along with the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, where you can explore miles of hiking trails, check out the 180-degree multi-screen theater, or scale the rock climbing wall. Signature activities include the Cave of the Winds Tour to the Hurricane Decks for the ultimate "water park" experience and the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which takes you right up to the base of the Falls!
Four Mile Creek State Park
Four Mile Creek State Park is located just 15 minutes north of the mighty Niagara Falls, the park has hiking trails along the densely wooded bluffs and the marsh at the mouth of Four Mile Creek is home to fauna such as great blue herons, white tail deer and to flora such as stunning white trillium and greenbrier.
Reservoir State Park
Reservoir State Park, Town of Niagara Route 31, is a favorite of local residents in Niagara County. The park has three tennis courts, eight baseball diamonds, two basketball courts, a roller hockey court and picnic facilities. It is also home to the largest softball complex in Niagara County. Winter visitors come to sled and cross-country ski. Part of the park is an overlook for the Robert Moses Power Plant Reservoir. Excellent fishing available in the Reservoir.
Beaver Island State Park
The 950 acre park has a half-mile sandy beach for swimming, adjacent 80 slip marina with both seasonal and transient boat slips, fishing access, car-top boat launch, multiple canoe/kayak launches, bike and nature trails, nature center, playgrounds, picnic areas, athletic fields, horseshoe pits, an 18 hole championship disc golf course, an 18-hole championship golf course. In winter, visitors can snowmobile by permit, cross-country ski, snowshoe, sled or ice fish. Water fowl hunting is allowed in season by permit.
